KERONE manufactures paper pulp drying ovens that use high-velocity convection technology to evaporate the moisture from molded parts with heated air. Molded fiber pulp packaging material is environmentally friendly and uses recycled paper products like paperboard, newsprint, and other post-consumer and post-industrial waste. These items are shredded and mixed with water to form a slurry, which is then vacuum molded to remove excess moisture. In order to remove the remaining water, the components are dried in a molded fiber paper pulp drying oven. The final products include fast-food drink or cup trays, egg trays or filler flats, egg cartons, a wide array of protective packaging for consumer and industrial products, as well as disposable plates, bowls, plant trays, and clamshell containers.
The molded paper pulp industry is extremely diverse, and uniformly drying non-uniform molded fiber pulp shapes and sophisticated geometries will be tricky for short-term product manufacturers. Paper pulp drying ovens are available in multiple heating zones. Heat recovery systems can also be offered for even higher efficiency. We provide molded fiber pulp packaging drying solutions for each thick walls and thin wall product producing lines. Whether you’re considering a brand new line installation or the replacement of an existing process drier, KERONE offers unique drying solutions to fulfill every challenge.
